THE INSIDE TRACK 99X AND All The Hits Q100 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2007

99X and All The Hits Q100 are dedicated to empowering, motivating and assisting young people in reaching their goals. We are looking for college students who are:

  • Interested in a career in radio broadcasting

  • Can earn credits toward graduation from their colleges for completing the internship
  • Are available Monday-Friday between 9AM-5PM

The 99X and All The Hits Q100 Internship Program is open only to current college sophomores, juniors and seniors whose majors are Radio, TV, Film, Business, Communications or Marketing. The Program allows college students to gain valuable work experience while they explore future career opportunities and gain work experience while on a rotation schedule through ALL of the stations' departments, including Programming/Production, Promotions, Business Office, Engineering and Sales. This rotation exposes the Interns to the entire radio station and provides a general introduction to the industry. Interns are assigned to complete various projects and duties within each department. This is an UNPAID internship and is approximately ten (10) weeks in length. Please note once again that you must be enrolled in a college that grants credits for participation in an internship to be eligible to participate in the program.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum academic requirements: 2.8/4.0 GPA or 4.8/6.0 GPA verified by the college
  • Letter of Recommendation: A letter from the department head, professor or advisor within the student's academic discipline
  • Documentation from the school that outlines the school's internship requirements
Minimum hours required: Summer Program - 20 to 30 hours per week; Spring or Fall Program - 15 to 20 hours per week; some departments require night and/or weekend work.

TO APPLY

  • Provide the required documents, resume and photocopy of your valid drivers license
  • Complete the Internship Program Application
  • You will be contacted for an interview after your application is reviewed
